Is this zine RinHaru or HaruRin?
We are NOT using the Japanese ship naming convention for the purposes of this zine. "RinHaru" is used as an umbrella term for RinHaru / HaruRin / Sharkbait / any other way you may call it. This zine will include and accept works that portray Rin and Haru together as a couple regardless of which "bedroom dynamic" you prefer. However, since this is NOT an 18+ zine and there will be no explicit content in it, this should not become an issue.

Is the zine SFW or NSFW?
As mentioned above, all content in the zine, including the potential merchandise bundled with it, will be SFW.

Are you planning to make a NSFW version of the zine one day?
We're not opposed to the idea, but for now we want to get this zine completed, and any future planning will depend on the success of “For Our Dream”. So, if there is interest for an 18+ RH Zine, it’s in everyone’s best interest to promote this one first ;)

Will this be a for-profit project?
No. All proceeds from the zine will be donated to Water.org, which was the charity chosen by public vote.

How many copies will be produced? Can I buy this if I miss the pre-order period?
We will only be able to print as many copies as we get pre-orders for. As long as you place your order during the pre-order window, a copy will be available for you. We will make sure to announce pre-orders as early as possible so that you will be able to make your purchase with enough time to spare!
However, the PDF copy of the zine will still be available for purchase for some time after the pre-orders for physical copies will end.

Where will the zine be shipping from?
All physical zine packages will be shipped from the United States.

I live in x country, can I still get the zine?
Yes! As long as your country is able to receive shipments from the USA at the time of shipment. Please check with your local post about any shipping and import restrictions that may affect your order. We cannot be responsible for any packages that are lost or delayed due to shipping restrictions, or any other reason outside of our control.
If you’re still unsure, a PDF-only version will also be available for purchase!

Can I order multiple copies for me and my friend(s)?
Sure, the more the merrier! Group orders are more than okay! However, you may not buy multiple copies with the intent to resell them for profit.

Can I share the PDF with my friend(s)?
No. If you’d like your friends to see the PDF zine, please direct them to the webshop where it will be available for purchase, or buy a copy for them yourself.

Can I buy a specific item of merchandise alone, without the rest of the items, or the zine itself?
At present time, we are not planning for any of the merchandise to be sold separately.

Can I buy the merchandise separately if I buy a PDF version of the zine?
As stated above, at present time, we are not planning for the merchandise to be sold separately - this includes it being disconnected from a physical copy of the zine. While the specific package bundles haven't been determined yet, all bundles will include a copy of the zine. (We might consider creating a PDF+merchandise bundle if there is enough interest for it, however.)

How long will the preorders stay open?
The preorder period will last for approximately 2 months. We haven't picked an exact date yet as we're still planning out our preview posts so that we can make sure to spotlight all our contributors within the preorder period. Once we have a clearer idea of that timeline we'll announce the exact closing date, and post reminders once it grows closer. Please keep an eye out on our social media for future announcements!

Do I have to have a Paypal account to use that payment option?
No, you don't! You can pay through Paypal without registering an account, all you need is a credit or debit card suitable for online payments.

When will the PDF copies of the zine be sent out?
Currently we are planning for the PDF zine to be sent out when about a third of the physical zine orders have reached their recipients. We’re hoping this will be about a week or two after shipping begins.

Will the contributors to the zine receive free copies of the zine and its merchandise?
This depends on the amount of purchases we get, however we can guarantee that all zine contributors will receive a free copy of the physical zine. If the purchases are not enough to cover the cost of merchandise for contributors, they will have an option to buy it at production cost (max 1 copy of each per contributor).

Will the zine have any specially invited guests?
No. All the writers and artists who will participate in the zine will have gone through the application process.

Will any of the zine’s mods participate in the zine?
No. We decided not to allow that in the interest of transparency and fairness to all participants, even though the applications will be processed via a blind vote. The zine’s mods will only be involved in and credited for the organisation.

When will the art and fics be posted after the zine ships?
We’ll notify participants once we’re reasonably certain most physical packages reached their destinations and that fics and art can be posted. We assume this will be a couple weeks after shipping ends.

Can the content submitted to the zine be used for personal commercial purposes?
Participants will retain all rights to their own content in the zine. However, since this is a charity project, we’d prefer if the content (especially the merchandise designs) wasn’t reused for profit--at least not right away. As a courtesy, we’d like to ask all contributors to wait for at least a year after the zine has shipped before using their submissions for commercial purposes.
